I saw these social profile buttons few days back, and instantly fall in love with it. This plugin offers look and conversion both. It places a large block of follow me buttons on the sidebar, and people can directly like, follow your pages without leaving the page. Here is a screenshot of this plugin in action:

Monarch is a multi-purpose plugin that offers Social media sharing & Social media follow buttons. I’m using it on my few blogs, and happy with the performance & look of the buttons. You can add buttons from numerous social media network, and add it as a widget at any place on your blog. Here is a screenshot of the configuration page:

This plugin is part of ElegantThemes membership that includes 87 premium themes and six premium plugins including Bloom. This all cost only $89, but if you are looking to get the membership just for the plugin, the cost seems to be on the higher side.

WP MashSocial Widget

If you are looking for a free widget plugin, this plugin will take care of your need. This is another widget based easy to configure plugin. It supports all popular social media channels including Google Feedburner. Here is is the demo of the plugin:

At the price of nothing, this is indeed a good plugin to go with. This plugin is inspired from earlier Mashable style social media follow widget.

Metro Style Social Widget:

This is another free plugin that looks visually appealing. The only thing is, it’s not been updated from last one year, but it still works great. You have an option to stop showing certain buttons, and easy to configure. Here is a screenshot for the same:

Which plugin should you use?

There are few things you should consider before selecting the right one for you. If you have a decent following on social media channel, you should consider picking the one that highlights the numbers. If you just started out and have less than 50 followers, the one without counter is recommended for you.

• Pick the buttons which look good with your existing theme.
• Responsiveness is necessary, & all above listed plugins are responsive.
• Consider one who let users take action within the blog itself. Because if users leave to any social media channel to like or subscribe, you know how addictive those channels are.

I would recommend Flat Social profile block from the list, as the design is modern & action will be taken on the page itself. This will increase your conversion and will not make readers leave your page.
